As the UK official Distributor of Viking Pump Hygienic (formerly Wright Flow Technologies), BestPump Ltd has tonight been advised of some major news that will affect our many Classic+, SteriLobe and Revolution clients.
Viking Pump will permanently cease operations at their Eastbourne, UK manufacturing facility, with the closure anticipated to be in June 2027.
What’s Changing at Viking Pump Hygienic?
This closure will affect the manufacturing of the current product lines as follows:
The Classic+ / MultiPump rotary lobe pump is to be renamed globally as the MultiPump and will be manufactured in Vadodara, India by IDEX India Private Ltd.
The Revolution circumferential piston pump will be obsoleted. The last time to buy window will run from now until September 30, 2026; including pumps non-wear spare parts, and maintenance / repair kits. Spares support for wear parts will be available for 5 years thereafter.
The SteriLobe production is moving to IDEX Pump Technologies (Ireland) Limited in Shannon, Ireland.
Our partners at Viking Pump Hygienic are fully committed to minimising the impact of this transition on your supply chain and has developed a comprehensive wind-down plan to fulfill their current commitments.
What this means for BestPump’s Clients’ operations:
Current / Open Orders:
All orders confirmed for delivery before February 28, 2027, will be manufactured and shipped from the Eastbourne, UK site
Revolution:
The final date to place any new Revolution orders is September 30, 2026.
Sterilobe, Multipump, and Classic Plus:
Orders received before September 30, 2026, will be produced in the UK; for orders after this date, Viking Pump reserves the right to change production facilities.
Warranty:
Standard warranty T & Cs apply.
